What happens at this event?

At our Summer DJ Workshops, your child will immerse themselves in the dynamic world of DJing. Our skilled tutors will guide them through the art of mixing, while they get hands-on experience with professional DJ equipment.

Here's the exciting part - at 2 pm, we invite you to join us for a live performance, where the students will showcase the skills they've acquired during the day. Things to remember

  • No need to bring any equipment, we just ask you arrive on time

  • 10am - 3pm

  • Lunch break at 12pm (please pack a lunch & drink!)

  • Live performance from 2-3pm, come along and watch your child perform on the decks!

FAQ's
Can I get a refund if my child is unable to attend?
Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. Due to the high demand for these workshops, once a spot is booked, it's considered final as it would have been offered to someone else.
Can siblings in different age groups attend the same workshop?
Yes, we understand the convenience for families and can accommodate siblings in different age groups in the same workshop. Please indicate this when filling out the booking form.
What should my child bring to the workshop?
Your child should bring a packed lunch and drink for the day. We provide all necessary DJ equipment and an official NextGen Music Workbook.
Can parents attend the workshop?
Parents are welcome to join us at 2 pm for the live performance where the students will showcase what they've learned.
What happens if my child can only attend a workshop that doesn't match their skill level?
We aim to be flexible. If you're only available on a specific date that doesn't match your child's 'tier', we can accommodate this. Please make a note in the booking form.
What if all the workshops are fully booked?
If all the workshops are booked and you're still interested in lessons, please email us at deen@nextgenmusic.org. We'll do our best to arrange an alternative solution.
Can I book my child on to more than one session?
Absolutely! While our workshops are grouped according to ability level, we understand that your child may want to attend more than one session. Feel free to book as many sessions as you'd like. Simply let us know on the booking form.
